Chrissy’s Island Family music is too deadly!

Chrissy’s Island Family was written and performed by Multi-Aria & Deadly Award winner Christine Anu. It provides the whole family with fun education on Australian indigenous heritage, all the while incorporating an electric mix of music styles from Pop, to Rock and soft ballads.

Each song contains strong themes about the changing world we live in. The music is uniquely Australian celebrating the many cultures Australia plays homage to which is reflected beautifully in the songs ‘Indijin-Us’, ‘Hello’ and ‘My Friends’.

There is also a strong environmental message contained within the song ‘Save Our World’ which highlights importance of nature and conservation.

The first Chrissy’s Island Family CD was released in July 2007.

Chrissy’s Island Family was nominated in 2007 for an ARIA Award in the ‘Best Children’s Album’ category.
